Welcome to Road Raise

Road Raise was founded in 2015 to raise vital funds and awareness for CanTeen is a highly-sought after event for like-minded professionals with a love of cycling, a sense of community and a desire to push their physical boundaries.

Thanks to the incredible efforts of those involved in Road Raise, CanTeen has raised over $550,000 in the past 3 years. These funds have supported young people cope with cancer in their family, rebuild their foundations and connect with others in the same boat.

With your help, Road Raise 2019 is aiming to raise $250,000!

How you can help

5 Young people in SA aged 12-25 are faced with the challenge of cancer each day, whether it’s their own diagnosis or their parent, brother or sister.

We get it. Just when life should be full of possibilities, cancer crashes into a young person’s world and shatters everything. CanTeen is the game changer.

We help young people aged 12-25 cope with their own cancer or cancer in their family. Through CanTeen, they learn to explore and deal with their feelings about cancer, connect with other young people in the same boat and if they’ve been diagnosed themselves, we  provide specialist, youth-specific treatment teams.

By feeling understood and supported, young people develop resilience and can rebuild the foundations that crumbled beneath them when cancer turned their life upside down. That’s how CanTeen is the difference

Road Raise Schools

Road Raise Schools is a month-long challenge held in Term 2 each year, which aims to raise funds and awareness for CanTeen.

Students and staff with a love of keeping active, a sense of community and a desire to push their boundaries to raise Funds for CanTeen. We encourage students to register as an individual or team and get active by scootering, skating, running or walking!

This campaign help young people in South Australia cope with cancer in their family, rebuild foundations and connect with others in a similar situation.

If you or your school would like to get involved in Road Raise Schools, please contact the CanTeen team on: P: 8122 6492  E: sa.nt@canteen.org.au
